Hazlehurst Training

On Monday, October 4th and Tuesday, October 5th, Share Health Southeast Georgia hosted a Prevention Capacity-building training with A&E Consulting in Hazlehurst, Georgia. Members from the Coalition for a Healthy Appling County (CHAC), Jeff Davis Substance Abuse Coalition (JDSAC), and Wayne County Recovery Coalition (WCRC), in addition to Ware and Coffee Counties partners, were present for the training. The workshop goals were 1) engage in organizational review and development to meet the requirements in DFC application, 2) develop knowledge and skills in the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), 3) identify community-level change strategies for youth substance prevention, and 4) gain insight into the DFC Support Grant application process. Thank you to A&E Consulting for such great information and to all our partners for showing up and engaging to contribute to a meaningful training!
